On April 30, 2015 the Messenger Mission spacecraft slammed into Mercury’s surface at about 8,750 mph and created a new crater on the planet’s surface. Before that happened it made many amazing images of the planet including elaborate topological studies. This handmade 3D print was created from multiple frames taken of the planet by the Messenger. This work comes in a black 16" x 16" frame.
